Hong Kong Inquiry Panel Delays Final Report on Tai Po Fire

Delayed Justice in Hong Kong's Flickering Towers The investigation into last year's devastating Wang Fuk Court fire in Tai Po, which claimed 168 lives and displaced nearly 5,000 people, has hit a snag.

According to sources close to the inquiry panel, the final report is now expected to be submitted to Chief Executive John Lee Ka chiu in late October, a month later than initially anticipated.

The delay stems from the sheer volume of evidence that needs to be reviewed and organized.
