Six Airlines, Including Scoot, Apply for Permits to Fly from Indonesia’s Repurposed Bandung Airport The Indonesian government's plan to revive commercial flights at Husein Sastranegara Airport in Bandung has sparked significant interest among airlines.

Six carriers, including Scoot, have already applied for permits to operate from the airport, which has been largely dormant since 2008.

PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, the state owned airport operator, is working to upgrade facilities and security measures ahead of the planned reopening on September 17.
